According to Urumqi Customs statistics, from January to April 2011, the export value of Xinjiang’s textile yarns, fabrics and products was 1.343 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 36.14%; the export value of clothing and clothing accessories was 22.985 billion yuan yuan, a year-on-year increase of 108.62%.
In January-April 2011, the import value of Xinjiang textile yarns, fabrics and products was 25 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 78.04%; the import value of clothing and clothing accessories was 0.00 billion yuan , a year-on-year decrease of 98.27%. </p
