India exports 10,000 tons of cotton yarn

In June, India exported 38,200 tons of cotton yarn (under HS: 5205), a month-on-month decrease of 19.07% and a year-on-year decrease of 67.85%. In the 2021/11 fiscal year (August-June), India exported 1.0381 million tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 2.04%. The main exporting countries and export volume proportions are as follows: exports to Bangladesh reached 444,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 65.29%, accounting for 42.79%; exports to China reached 143,800 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 45.68%, accounting for 13.85%. </p
