India exports 10,000 tons of cotton yarn

In September, India exported 26,200 tons of cotton yarn (under HS: 5205), a month-on-month decrease of 19.38% and a year-on-year decrease of 77.63%. In the fiscal year 2011/23 (August-September), India exported 58,700 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 74.81%. The main exporting countries and export volume proportions are as follows: exports to Bangladesh were 24,200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 73.91%, accounting for 41.12%; exports to China were 1,100 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 96.44%, accounting for 3.75%. </p
