On January 19, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled product is children’s button-down long-sleeved one-piece pajamas under the NewCosplasdfssdfsy brand of ShasdfssdfsnghasdfssdfsiJingChengLasdfssdfsndscasdfssdfspeEngineering. The products are made of 100% polyester fiber and are sold in sizes ranging from 4T to 10 years old, including black cats, black penguins, black pigs, gray elephants, gray penguins, kangaroos, koalas, pandas, pink pigs, unicorns, Character styles such as red-eyed panda, white chicken, and yellow chicken. The inseam label has fiber content and washing instructions printed on it, and the neck sewn label has the garment’s size and the words “NEWCOSPLAY.”
The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from October 2021 to May 2011. About 3,300 pieces were sold, priced at about US$17-26.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact ShasdfssdfsnghasdfssdfsiJingChengLasdfssdfsndscasdfssdfspeEngineering for a full refund.
