On January 26, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s casual pants.
This recall involves ProperlyTied’s 100% cotton children’s casual pants. The product, advertised as “LDAspenLoungePasdfssdfsnt,” is available in sizes 2T to YXL and sold in the following prints: Flame, Blue Ridge, Clay Mountain and Forest. The inner waistband tag reads “ProperlyTiedPasdfssdfsjasdfsssdfsmasdfssdfs” and the size, and the side seam tag reads “ProperlyTied,100%CottonasdfssdfsndMasdfssdfsdeinChinasdfssdfs”.
The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from July 2020 to August 2011. About 1,960 pieces were sold, priced at approximately US$19-38.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact ProperlyTied for instructions on how to obtain prepaid postage and return the product for a full refund.
