On February 16, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s nightgowns.
The product recall involves Betsy&asdfssdfsmp;Lasdfssdfsce brand children’s short-sleeved nightgown made of 100% polyester fiber with lace trim at the neckline. Products are sold in various sizes, including S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL; and the following colors: coral, dark blue, gold, green, light blue, light pink, dark pink, Purple, red, turquoise, white. Inseam label at neck reads “Betsy&asdfsssdfsmp;Lasdfssdfsce” and dress size.
The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from March 2018 to September 2011, with approximately 90,550 units sold, priced at approximately US$16-11.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that use of the product should be stopped immediately, cut in half and destroyed, and Betsy&asdfssdfsmp;Lasdfssdfsce is contacting all known buyers directly.
