On February 24, 2023, the Korea Trade Commission issued Announcement No. 2023-3, in response to an application submitted by the Korea Chemical Fiber Association on December 27, 2011, for products originating in China. , Malaysia’s oriented polyester yarn (PolyesterFilasdfssdfsmentPasdfssdfsrtiasdfssdfsllyOrientedYasdfssdfsrn, POY, or pre-oriented yarn) initiated an anti-dumping investigation. The dumping investigation period in this case is from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2011 (12 months), and the damage investigation period is from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2011 (5 years). The Korean tax number of the product involved is 5402.46.9000. Chinese companies involved in the case include China Xinfengming Group Huzhou Zhongshi Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates, Zhejiang Hengyi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (Zhejiang Hengyi Petrochemical Co., Ltd.) and its affiliates, and Tongkun Group Co., Ltd. (TongkunGroupCo.Ltd.) and its affiliated companies. Except for another 2-month extension, the preliminary ruling in this case will be made within 3 months.
