According to STS Group’s recent textile and apparel market report, the global textile and apparel market was worth approximately US$573.22 billion in 2011, with Vietnam, China, India, Bangladesh, and Turkey becoming the major textile and apparel markets. Exporting countries, together account for more than 55% of global apparel exports.
Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports reached US$44 billion in 2011, making it the third largest exporter in the world.
The global textile and apparel market is expected to grow by 6.6% to US$610.9 billion in 2023. </p
