On April 20, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The recalled product is NewCosplassy brand children’s button-down long-sleeved one-piece pajamas from Tasdfssdfsizhou Jiasdfssdfswasdfssdfsng Trading Co., Ltd. The product is made of 100% polyester, sold in sizes 4T to 10 years old, and features “Charmander” and “Pikachu” character graphics. Fiber content and washing instructions are marked on the side seam tags. Sewn-in neck label displays the product’s sizing and the words “NEWCOSPLAY”.
The product does not meet federal flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from December 2021 to April 2011. About 868 pieces were sold, priced at about US$30.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you should stop using this product immediately and contact Tasdfssdfsizhou Jiasdfssdfswasdfssdfsng Trading Co., Ltd. for a full refund.
