Foreign news on July 12th: Due to dynamic changes in supply, the prices of polyester-cotton, polyester, and viscose yarns are showing different trends, and the demand for these types of yarns is not very good.

Polyester and cotton yarn prices fell by Rs 2-3 per kilogram in Ludhiana due to poor demand. However, polyester yarn prices remained stable.

Polyester yarn price trend in Surat is also stable, but traders expect prices to rise due to supply disruption due to quality control order (QCO).

On the other hand, viscose yarn prices in Mumbai fell due to increased imports.

Ludhiana polyester-cotton yarn had a bearish tone and fell by Rs 3-4 per kg. Weak manufacturing demand has led to lower prices. However, polyester yarn prices remain stable. A trader in Ludhiana said: “Poor demand for polyester yarn has led to a fall in prices. Demand for polyester yarn has improved slightly, but its price has not found support.” Traders believe that after the implementation of quality control orders, polyester yarn has not been affected.

Polyester yarn prices remain stable in Surat. Trade sources said the market is not showing any upward trends, but prices may rise in the coming weeks due to possible supply disruptions caused by QCO.

However, the price of viscose yarn in Mumbai fell by 2-3 rupees. Imported viscose yarn sells for 180-185 rupees per kilogram, and domestic viscose yarn sells for 197-198 rupees per kilogram. Traders said that importers have booked a large number of orders, and when the goods arrive in the Indian market, the price of viscose yarn may fall further.

Cotton prices in northern India have recovered after falling in the past two days.

Trade sources said spinning mills regularly purchase cotton, but in small quantities as they do not expect cotton prices to rise significantly. </p
