On November 2, 2023, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s hoodies.

The recalled product is AKMI children’s navel-baring long-sleeved hoodie. The product is light green in color and features a plaid pattern on the sleeves and pineapple embroidery on the chest.

After random inspections, Health Canada believes that the product’s drawstrings may get stuck on playground equipment, fences or other objects, causing children to be strangled or killed by vehicles. Drag.

The products recalled this time were sold from August to December 2023, with about 1 unit sold.

As of October 27, 2023, no accidents or casualties have been reported.

Health Canada recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact IKEA to obtain free accessories and instructions, or return it for a refund.
