According to Bangladesh’s “New Era” report on November 9, Bangladesh’s garment exports to the United States from January to September 2023 were US$5.78 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 23.33%. Data shows that from January to September, China and Vietnam occupied the first and second places among apparel exporters in the U.S. market with shares of 20.47% and 17.98%, and Bangladesh occupied the third place with 9.73%.
