On January 12, 2024, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2024/2 stating that upon the application of Turkish domestic manufacturers, it would initiate a safeguard measure investigation into imported knitted or hook-knitted fabrics. This case involves products under tariff heading 60. Except for another extension (up to 6 months), the final results are expected to be announced within 9 months. The announcement shall be effective from the date of issuance.
Stakeholders should submit questionnaires within 30 days of the announcement.
