On February 1, 2024, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made girls’ pajamas.

The recalled product is Ekouaer girls’ pajamas. The product is short-sleeved, made of 95% cotton and 5% spandex, with screen printing on the chest. The sizes are 110, 120, 130, 140 and 150. They are available in transparent blue, lilac, light blue, light green, light 13 colors: grey, grey, pink, navy blue, light pink, purple, rose, white and yellow.

The product does not meet the requirements of the federal flammability regulations for children’s pajamas and poses a burn hazard.

The recalled products were sold from May 2020 to July 2023, with approximately 16,800 units sold, priced at US$10-20.

So far, there are no reports of accidents or casualties.

CPSC advises consumers to stop using the product immediately and will contact Ekouaer for a full refund.
