Ethiopia and UNIDO sign project agreement to support the development of the country’s textile and clothing industry

Ethiopian News Agency reported on February 1 that Ethiopia and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) signed a US$28 million project agreement to support the accelerated development of Ethiopia’s textile and clothing industry. The project will be implemented by the Ethiopian Textile Industry Development Institute over the next five years, focusing on promoting the development of a circular economy in the textile and clothing industry through the introduction of resource-saving technologies. </p
